Kekeenamkayo Education Conference takes place every second year in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This year’s conference is scheduled for February 13-15th, 2018 at the Delta Hotel in Winnipeg. We offer workshops on a range of practical, hands-on workshops as well as some on current issues, topics, and themes.

This year’s theme is RESURGENCE; Empowering Indigenous values in Modern Indigenous Education. Through interactive plenary sessions and reflection after workshops, we plan to delve into how Indigenous values can be brought to life within schools and communities, regardless of the subject or teaching environment.

* Accommodations

Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodations for the conference. We do have group rates for the conference under the "conference block". Rooms at the Delta fill up quickly so please book early if you intend to stay on site. ** Food

Breakfast is provided on the first morning of the conference (February 13th) starting at 7 am. Participants are responsible for all other meals.

*** Cancellation & Refund Policy

Before Dec 30th- Recieve 75% back; you can switch attendees with no change of fees
Before Jan 26th- Recieve 50% back; you can switch attendees with no change fees
Jan 20th onward- no refunds; you can switch attendees with no change of fees

Cheques need to be either post dated at the post office by the due date to qualify for that fee rate or they need to be received at the KERC office by the due date. Cheque should indicate "conference fees" on it.
