Description
Kekeenamkayo Education Conference takes place every second year in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This year’s conference is scheduled for February 13-15th, 2018 at the Delta Hotel in Winnipeg. We offer workshops on a range of practical, hands-on workshops as well as some on current issues, topics, and themes.
This year’s theme is RESURGENCE; Empowering Indigenous values in Modern Indigenous Education. Through interactive plenary sessions and reflection after workshops, we plan to delve into how Indigenous values can be brought to life within schools and communities, regardless of the subject or teaching environment.

Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodations for the conference. We do have group rates for the conference under the "conference block". Rooms at the Delta fill up quickly so please book early if you intend to stay on site.
